The Royal coat of arms that rules our shores

Is stamped on top of all our deeds and laws.

“Dieu et mon droit”, the famous saying reads.

God and my rights, is what each human needs.

There stand two beasts, who serve to represent

Through history, what Britishness has meant.

But lo!  the mighty lion comes he not

From Albion!  Black Africa’s his spot.

The other one, the fabled unicorn

Was never ever on this planet born!

I think our Royal kingdom is a hoax…
